Hello, I am wondering what the sweetest cherry would be to grow on the prairies.  I did plant one this year (possibly cupid?), but am looking for a few more.  The cherry tree would be mainly for fresh eating.  Thanks

Paging through the Aubin Nurseries catalog I found one listed called 'Crimson Passion' cherry.  They say it has "...the highest sugar content of the prairie cherries. An Introduction from the University of Saskatchewan formerly named 'Big Momma'"

Others cultivars you might want to consider are 'Evans', 'Juliette', and 'Romeo', They are hardy semi-sweet cherries good for fresh eating.
